A Knight Story

Astride a mighty horse, a sword at your side, bow on your back, and the adventure of a lifetime before you. What fate will you chose? Will you become a great noble knight or a evil dark knight? Will you be a honorable theif or an assassian? A simple hege witch or a mage? The title may say A Knight Story but all are welcome. The land of Tortall is great and powerful, full of wonderful places to go and fight or relax. Families can be raised in peace and happiness. But what is that on the horizon? There is one per room and boys may not stay overnight in any girls room. 0 0 Library This is where all can come and read scrolls, weather for class, for knowledge, or for the fun of it. There are many scrolls on the gods' battles and some of the great wars. 0 0 Dining Hall Everyone eats their meals here, the pages and squires have to wait on the nobles, though, before they can eat their own meal. Many knights come here to look for a squire and many other people come here to talk. Students can come here to study with others. 0 0 Knight Wing This is where the knights stay when they are in court. Any knight with a swuire as an adjoining room where the squire sleeps, studies, and keeps their things. 0 0 War Chamber This is where the King and his Generals and some knights come to plan for a war, to prevent a war, or how to respond to a attack on the boarders. 0 0 Palace Grounds Archery Range Straw dummies fill the space between you and victory. The targets have seen many arrows but still they stand. 0 0 Jousting Lane For many a year, kinghts, squires, pages, anyone who can ride a horse and carrying the jousting pole has ridden through here. This is the best place to buy, sell, or wager on something weather it is a sword, clothing, or a game. If you can't find it, it doesn't exist. 0 0 Ashena Village A small, clean cluster of homes with farms about the outskirts. The people hwere live a simple life outside the palace walls yet are happy. THe clusters of houses and huts may seem uninviting but many of the servants and palace workers coem from here, enjoying the space and clean air here. Farm land is plentiful. Will that be your calling? Wrestling, fist fighting, knive practice, and more is taught here. 0 0 Tortallan Country Port Legann (3 sub-boards) Commonly known for its famous catchings of fish, especially the elusive, Tortall Saberfish which has the best taste of all fishy things. Knight Roul first manned this fort before it was taken under the wing of other commanders and generals. Great Southern Desert White sand that eternally dances with the winds, both beautiful and dangerous. The Bazhar and other desert nomades find themselves at home here. Other Countries and Lands Scanra Rathhausak Black stone are the building blocks of this wall. The scent of old blood lingers in the air almost all the time. One of the holds in the enemy grounds. Many of the citizens have been smuggled out before they are used for vile and evil purposes. It is a very, very evil place. 0 0 Fort Jacart The fort wall is blackened from the fires that tried to burn it many years ago and shields of destroyed armies rest on each wooden peak. This is Scanra's main fort that rests near the boarder of Tortall and trains much of its ragged army. What evils lurk behind these walls? None have come out alive to tell... 0 0 Demon Dwelling Mountians Rising from the ground like the fangs of a demon, their darkness foul enough to make a man shake. The bravest of knights dare challange these reaches, weather for gold or fame or both. There is more than air here. This is where many of the people live for it is has the fewest mountians. 0 0 N'hrive This town sets on the small islands in the south of these five islands. It is surrounded by mountains except for the east shore, where the town is. It is mainly a port town. 0 0 Ram en' ondo Mountians These mountians stretch over the isles, some volcanic and some just plain mountians. They are not as deadly as their northeastern cousins but give more of a shelter to the isles ihabitants.
